Jump Class

The babies missed a few weeks of class and I was not even planning on taking them this month, or at all during the summer, but communication got mixed up and they took payment for the month anyways. So the last 2 weeks I took the babies 5 times to make up for it. I didn't get photos of every class but here are some photos and videos. I was also able to take the big kids to an open gym class where they get free reign of the gym to do what ever they want for 1 hr. The big kids are always jealous that the babies go every week and they do not, so they had waited patiently for the open gym and they loved it. We might do a home school gymnastics class in the fall but we have to check our schedules. For now, we enjoyed our intense week at jump class. 

Mary Poppins

Its been awhile since Thais and I have seen a play, but I wouldn't miss the once a summer, outdoor theater at Mt Helix. This year it was Mary Poppins and we went with our friends, well we met them there. I had to miss Tiago's basketball game but thats ok, I got some special mother daughter time with my first born, who spends most of her days attending soccer or basketball practice. This show is always amazing. First the location with the cross and the sunset is amazing every single day. Then you add a stage and theater with a warm blanket, cozy next to my daughter, and a cup of hot cocoa at intermission? It's a dream and that dream is my reality for one night every summer with my little girl who has brought drama, music and theater into my life. I am so blessed to be her mama!

Red Rebels Game 4

Unfortunately I missed game 4 of the season but I heard it was amazing. We played Tiago's old coach and the only team we have lost to, so it was a big game and our boys pulled it off and they won! They were losing and came back to win, once again by 1 basket. I was getting text updates from my mom and from Tiago's bff mom who is coaches wife, while I was at the theater with Thais. She even video taped the game for me, so I could watch it later. These pics are from practice. We had bowling, basketball, then soccer. I had to be at soccer because I was handing out uniforms for our tournament this weekend, since I am the team manager. So I asked Tiago's ball coach if he could arrive 30 minutes early and work with Tiago since we had to leave 30 mins early to get to soccer on time, and he did. I love my athletic boy, 3 sports in 1 day!

Bowling buddies

 For the second time this summer, we went bowling. Last time we went with our cousin, today we went with friends. There were older boys there that Tiago got to play with and Thais bowled with the girls and babies. Zico and Bita enjoy, it doesn't last very long but we get through it. Its good for the kids, to do something besides soccer, its with friends, and its air conditioned in there, so nice way to beat the heat. Its through a kids bowl free program, you just pay $4 for shoes for 2 games and with kids this games take about an hour each. Tiago as usual is always competitive and I think he came in second. He bowls the most awkward way but what ever works. Being left handed in a right handed world is not easy, trust me, I know!

Sunday family day

We ended the week with a family walk/ ride to the park to fly Tiago's new kite. Papa has always loved kites, as a kid he tied string to plastic bags and flew them. He is really good at them as well and now he is teaching the kids how to fly them as well. Tiago bought this kite with his own money and has been begging so off we went. There was not much wind but we went to the kids school which is on top of a hill, so there is always plenty of wind up there. It was a great family time together. 

 Bit told me she wanted to be a runner like her mama so off we went and ran a mile.
