Kobae

Kobae is loving the warm weather, we went for a few walks around the block and then Tiago took Kobae to school for show and tell. He is only apart of the afternoon class but I figured we were taking him up there anyways, so we went early so the morning pre school class could meet him also. Then we had to hang around for 1 hour till Tiago's class showed up. It was fun, all the kids loved him. I told the teacher I would try to continue to bring him to her school once a year even when my kids are no longer there. They have been great to my family the last 2 years and the teacher loves tortoises, we actually have mutual friends and she loves soccer too. My kids have made great friends at this school many whom got to see Kobae again today. Fun times!

We bought a water melon for Tiago for thanksgiving but we were so full, we didnt eat it for a few days. Tiago kept it nice and safe in his sisters car seat lol!

Baby Bita

The next few weeks are super busy but I will try to keep up this blog as usual. For now Im posting some photos and videos of the baby over the last few weeks, just so you can really see and hear what she is up to and her little personality. She is changing literally every day and i feel like I am not capturing it all but Im trying. She is still not sleeping through the night, she is crawling and can pull herself up on stuff, she LOVES, LOVES, LOVES to eat. She will eat everything and anything. She is talking and likes to try and repeat things others do. She loves her siblings but loves their toys more lol! She has the greatest smile and laugh, she lights up a room. She is true blessing!

UPDATE

Sockers win again and this time by a lot. Well it was a lot by half we were up 10 goals, then we let off the gas a bit and the other team started to come back but there just wasnt enough time or energy. Papa had a crazy day coaching all day before his Sockers game, no nap, no food, we didnt even know where he was for close to 5 hours since he left his phone at home. But he played, did what he had to do and the team won. Tiago ran through the Sockers sign with papa, I didnt get any good pictures but we let him do it once a year and last year it was on his birthday, this year he did it a few weeks early but he loves it. What kid wouldnt? He goes with the team in the locker room, before the game, half time, and after the game, plus practices, I even heard he dances in the locker room at half time. Love that he gets to be with his papa and a part of the team. Good game but an even better night!

Surfing Santa

Thats right, we are in California, so it only makes sense to have a surfing Santa. We went to see him 2 years ago missed last year but made it again this year. Its such a fun event and we had Rod and Stacy came with us too. It was a beautiful warm day, we had ice cream, went for a ride on the carousel, saw Santa and just enjoyed a nice Saturday afternoon in sunny San Diego.

A Day Off

I am happy to announce we went hiking today. First we went and watched papa coach his 2nd game of the day which was right up the street, thankfully because most of his games are hours away. After the boys came from behind to tie the game 3-3, then we drove to the Mission Trails visitor center and did a small 2 mile loop. My dad and I used to walk this over 6,500 acres of protected nature park all the time with my two dogs. I still have all the trails memorized. Some are obviously harder then others but all are beautiful and great exercise. I had the baby on my back in a carrier for the first time ever and she was fantastic. She didnt cry or whine and was awake most the time. I am very excited because Im hoping this means we can go for many many more. PLus it made my work out even better as I was carrying 20 pounds on my back. The kids had fun, my mom came along and at the end we explored the visitor center. We have been here before with the kids and Thais remembered it but I dont think Tiago did. We really have to go more often, especially in the winter when the river has lots of water in it. I really wish we had more days off or no schedules because this is just the perfect way to spend it.
