Labor Day weekend

Welp this is it..... our last days before school starts. As you can tell, Im not one of those parents who are excited to lose their children for 7 hours a day. Im very very sad, not just for me but for the babies too. They dont get to be with the siblings as much and now the kids wont be with their dad as much either since he goes to work just 1 hour after they get home from school. Our fall schedule goes into full effect of soccer 5 days a week, singing, ballet for both girls, church for big kids for the first communion in spring, acting on Saturdays, babies have gymnastics and pre school story time. Papa will start training with the Sockers so gone even more. How ever we did go out with a bang this summer. We went to Brasil for a month, then came home and spent lots of time with our friends and this past week, we did tons and tons of family stuff. Now its time for change, new chapter......

This weekend we went to a friends Labor day party, kids had a blast, i finished my final summer project of the lego mini figure shelves, and Thais and I went and got our nails done for the first day of school. We went swimming in our pool and papa and I hiked the 3rd mt this week. I already posted the other 2 but this one is by far the best. I was above the clouds, walked through a rainbow, as close to heaven as i will ever know. This is it... here we go......Welcome back to school and to September and Fall schedule.

Last day of family summer

This is it.... our last day of summer. I say that because I dont do crowds especially on a holiday weekend, so today is Friday and we will stay close to home the next few days till school starts on Tuesday. How ever..... we went out with a bang today. I got these passes for $10 each kid for unlimited lazer tag, rope climb, rides, all kinds of fun stuff. It was a perfect beach day, then we went next door to the Wave house and had some lunch in a cabana.... Im telling you, this is the life. This is San Diego, this is summer. I cant believe we spent a month in a beach house in Brasil and now we are spending our summer days at the beach in San Diego. We may not have our own house, or fancy cars, or high paying jobs, but we have each other, we have God, we have tons of love, our health, amazing family and friends, jobs that we enjoy, I am just so so blessed for this life and spending days like today remind me of that. These are the days my kids will remember and thats what its all about.

And her papa won her a Dora on the dart game, she was a very happy girl
