Happy New Years!!!

2012 is coming to a close, and what a crazy year it has been. Papa's team won the championship, I found out I was pregnant with our 4th and final child. We made our crazy trip to Utah this summer, then my baby boy started Kindergarten and Thais went to first grade. We got new cars, papa got a good coaching job that even took him to Europe. I lost 65 pounds and ran 700 miles only to gain it all over again. So much has happened, its been fun, but we had our losses too like losing my Grandpa this past month. I am looking very forward to 2013 and welcoming our newest baby into the family, papa going to Brasil to hopefully get my step sons paperwork in order to come live with us once and for all. We will go to Moab to see my dad in the spring and hopefully to the east coast this summer to introduce both little babies to our family. We are hoping to get our own house and start our journey of being a family of 6 maybe 7 on our own. I will probably end up going back to work part time, it will be a new era for us. The time of pregnancy is over, we have been in it for 8 years now with 4 kids. Time to move on and start the next chapter of our lives. While I will miss it, i am ready for the next phase too. So as we say good bye to 2012, we say goodbye to much more than just the year, but we have so much to look forward too. I want to thank all of you who read this blog and are in our lives.

For New years my cousins are back from Utah, my brother is down from LA with my niece and we rolled wontons like we do every year. Its usually Christmas eve but since everyone was out of town we did it on New Years eve instead. Only my brother, niece and Thais stayed awake till 12am, I heard them but went to bed at 11pm. I have had contractions for 3 days straight and Im simply just tired. Im happy that they were able to celebrate though, I look forward to celelbrating next years with all 5 of our kids!

My brother got the family a popcorn maker, its super yummy

Baby Watch

Well now we are just on baby wait and watch. We did Tiago's birthday, his party, finished with school,  and did Christmas so now its just baby waiting time. Some days I stay home all day in bed and others days I go stir crazy and get out the entire day. We went to McDonalds with their new play ground, papa takes them for walks and to parks almost every day just to get them out of the house, they got new scooters for Christmas, 2 wheeled ones which they are learning balance on, they are coloring and watching their new movies, playing with new toys, we met friends at a park. We are enjoying our break but staying very closee to home too!
I took Tiago for his 6 year photos, Bita got a bit jealous and stuck her head in the 6 to see what the fuss was all about. It was hilarious! It has been rainining and really cold too, so not motivated to leave the house anyways.
We are excited to meet baby 6, but I am really trying to hold out till 2013. Im so close, I know I can do it!

Christmas Day 2012

Yippee, its Christmas Morning!!!! I wish I could say I stayed up late building toys or woke up early to set stuff out but I didnt. Im 39 wks pregnant, those things are just not happening, thankfully i have my mom to help me pick up the slack and she is the one who woke up early and got all the presents out. I did wake up before 2 of the kids, Thais wakes up at 6-7am every day even on break, even when we stay up late so no one wakes up before her, but the other 2 will sleep all day like their dad if you let them. So she watched a movie on the ipad on netflix while we waited for the other two. Finally Tiago woke up and I had those 2 go wake up Bita and papa and down the stairs they came, just like I did with my brothers as a kid. It was fun, they were so excited for all their gifts, except of course the 2 books Thais got from her teacher, which cracked us up. They enjoyed giving out the gifts they had bought at school for each of us and Bita just had fun with everyone else's stuff. It was simple, quite, just us and I loved it! I hope all of you had a very Merry Christmas as well.
