The last of the Holidays

My brother and neice came down from LA for a few days and we celebrated 3 Kings Day. I know we are on break but it doesnt really feel like it all the time with Thais crazy schedule, so the few moments we do have to rest and relax, we are really enjoying.

Thais got a furby boom, she loves it! Me not so much because she leaves it in the van when i drop her off to theater and then it wakes up while I am driving and cries and wants to be fed. Its crazy! So there I am at a stop light, petting this furby to make it happy so when Thais comes back it isnt sad. Yes the things we do as parents.

Bita got Wubby pets which is a make your build a bear at home. The kids aoo did it together later.

Our PA mom has been sending us personalized ornaments over the years and it has been fun and im sure challenging for her to continue to find ornaments that fit our ever expanding family. Here are some of them. The first was just Papa and I.

And last year we added Gabby and had an extra spot in case Zico decided to come early but he didnt

So he is added to the 2013 ornament. I absolutely love these and am so happy to be able to go back and see us grow through the years! So thank you Mom Aretta

we cooked the soccer pasta from Tiago fundraiser and it was really good and the kids enjoyed eating it

3 kings day, just as Jesus received his gifts late because the wise men got lost, the kids get presents. we left grass and oranges for the camels

Papa in Brasil

It is with sad and happy news that I can now tell everyone that Papa has gone to Brasil for 10 days. He has important legal things he is too take care of for our son Gabby, in our forever long quest to reunite our family and bring our son to the United States. Of course, papa will also be spending New Years with his sisters, nephews and his father. It has been 3 years since we have been to Brasil so I am happy he can be with them. We will miss him and sad he will miss Zico's first birthday but it is for good reason. So the last few days we have been shopping for papa to take things to Brasil for his family and son. Thankfully we got a huge player discount at Puma and with their already 50% off the entire store for Christmas we got a lot of shoes for $12.


Then it was time to say goodbye

Tiago is always the most affected by papa leaving

Papa may be missing Zico's first birthday but he has been there every other day. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful man, papa and husband in our lives. Not only does he take care of our crazy crew but his family in Brasil too.

My nephew posted this picture on facebook, it was the only communication i got that papa arrived safely.

Once papa came back I saw some of the photos he took with his ipad. This is his sisters house, with her husband and son out back cooking

Papa was able to see some photos of our son growing up, days that we have missed. Here he on his 7th bday

one the flight home, papa had an 11 hr lay over at an airport and was able to face time us.

Life Besides rehearsals

Ok so before I begin posting about opening night and opening weekend... we did do a few other things besides theater during our break from school. We had a play date with Bita's best friend and their family. Always a good time.  They came over and fed Kobae. Yes these are still pumpkins from Halloween. When we cut them open, some of the seeds had already begun to sprout, so we planted them out front. Cant wait to see if they really grow or not.

I am really missing Thais being gone all day at Theater, so I was happy to have all 4 of them back together

Tiago got a ramp for Christmas and so he has been practicing. He cant wait to get back out to the track for bmx.

Our neighbors Kathleen who's husband is one of the coaches for papa's Sockers drops off food for Kobae about once a week. We are always thankful for our friends help in feeding Kobae.

I went to shower and no joke, I came out and found these 3 on my bed, just like this. I told them to freeze and I took the photo. I am so so blessed to be their mommy

Thais had a late start to rehearsal only 4-9pm, so we went to this trampoline place at 10am for 2 hours. This place is great and papa came which is shocking in itself but he did!

Tiago just plays dogde ball the whole time, he is so compeitive. I dont know where he gets it from?

another day I had to buy something for Papa's trip to Brasil coming up soon and we stopped at target but the babies were asleep so papa got the big kids some popcorn and we sat in the car while papa shopped.
