Circus

The running joke is my life is a circus so why would I go see a circus when I live in one, but this was a lot of fun. Granted we went in the middle of the worset rain and wind storm in 5 years but it meant there were not a lot of people and better than being at home for yet another day and night. We went with our neighbors and school friends, I think we had 15 or so and we got the tickets on a special so even better and we thought it would be similar to last years shows or the year before, the last time we went but it wasnt. It was totally different and tons of fun. At one point I didnt want to look and one of the other dads was laughing at me saying i was worse than the kids. Good times!

Australian Visitors

In my life of travels I have met many people along the way. Today I met one more. I have only known her through friends and online but the circle of latina moms is an unbelievable bond. When I moved to NY, I had a mom there waiting for me and she became my bff. When I moved to Vancouver and back to San Diego. I had friends waiting for me. I have seen our Australian friend go to Puerto Rico and Domican Republic to visit friends and now she is here in San Diego. She was in Vegas and LA and sent me an email as she was on a train to San Diego. I went the next day and picked her and her son up.  I knew the rain was coming so after the morning rain, we picked up our friends and went to the beach to see the seals. Today was extra special because there were a lot of baby seals. So so cute! I have been to the beach probably 4 times this month and Im not complaining. The kids played in the water for a bit then it was back to the house, but not before picking up some local food. So good!

Globe trotters

Once again some how this post got lost. Sorry but as Im cleaning off my phone in hopes of getting a new one and backing up my computer because it is out of memory but i will get all caught up and have a fresh start. The last 2 weeks or so I have been on top of a lot of things. I remember this happening when Tiago turned one. I felt a huge weight off my shoulders, I felt like ok the newborn stage is over. I may not still be sleeping but I can get a bit more done. So Im doing it again. We have a lot coming up and Im so excited for it and want to just enjoy it, not feel like I am weighed down. So by starting fresh, having a routine and lists, is helping with that. I just hope it lasts.

OK so on Valentines night I went with Tiago and Bita and my mom to see the globe trotters. We got 2 free tickets when Tiago did his summer camp with them months ago and then we bought one extra. I thought Rod was going to go but he bailed last minute so my mom went but it worked out fine because she loves basketball too. Papa stayed home with Thais and Zico. We met our friends there and really enjoyed it. It is meant for the whole family even if there was kissing and such it was still very funny. We got autographs afterwards and just had a good night.
